OMG!!!! Did you see “The Volcano” documentary on Netflix??? I heard about the volcano erupting in New Zealand a few years ago and heard a bunch of people died. Some of the tourists said that the tour company never told them about the risks and dangers. You would think it’s common sense that this is Mother Nature and anything can happen at anytime. But when I thought about it, I hiked up a live erupting volcano in Guatemala and didn’t even think about the risks. Nobody told me either and now that I think about it, maybe they should have? I would have still gone, but I’m sure a lot of other people would have said no way if there was a chance you could get burned to death. A few months after I hiked the volcano, it did erupt and people did die. You just never know. Anyway, after seeing this documentary, I will never ever hike a live volcano in my life again. This was horrifying for me to watch and I highly recommend everybody to watch it. The footage is stunning, but the stories are heartbreaking. It’s something I will definitely watch again…
