Just in one week, the whole beach at Pipeline has changed. Where there were waves and competitors surfing during the Pipeline Pro, now it’s filled with tons of white sand. Pipeline has disappeared! 
The previous North swell pushed all the sand back up on the beach so there won’t be Pipeline for a while. We need another big West swell to take the sand back into the ocean where it belongs. Then Pipeline will return.
But for now, this is the cleanest and coolest place to be. White sand, clean water, and a perfect river that runs into a pool. 
The best and most natural water park in the world. But don’t expect this to last very long. 
Glad that the hulihuli chicken is back on the North shore. I ordered a whole chicken and ate it all. Surfing makes me hungry…
