TAKO>I

It’s pretty cool to check out the ocean and decide what to do.  Yesterday the waves were fun but since there were 50mph onshore winds and heavy rain, we decided to take cover underwater.  Once we jumped in, the rain and wind were totally forgotten.

We weren’t expecting anything special because this was the first time I’ve ever snorkeled here.  I didn’t expect to find what we found.

There were goodies everywhere!  I’ve never seen a reef full of sea urchin shells like this before.

I saw a nice one, then when I went down to grab it, one of the girls pushed me away and grabbed it!  OMG!

There were so many so it felt like an Easter egg hunt!

Then I looked into this hole and saw a big tako!  I tried to trick it out of the hole but this one was smarter than me.  TAKO>I.

We found some fishing lead and golf balls too so happy to get it off the precious reef.

This was our first round of two.  After we unloaded, we went back out for Round 2.

A lovely addition to my shell collection!  I love this ocean!!!
