recently we’ve been getting a lot of rain here in hawaii. and when it rains, our tiny island gets a good cleaning from the mountain to the ocean. and when you have places like the ala wai yacht harbor where the rubbish builds up, you have a problem. why haven’t i been diving lately? this is why! impossible to get in and out of the harbor without ruining your engine. and get this, all this rubbish goes out the channel into the most famous surf spot on the south shore, Bowls!
i’ve traveled the world, i’ve been to exotic beaches, but till this day, i’ve never seen a mermaid. i never believed in mermaids until i seen this one pop out of the water in front of me when i was sitting down watching the sunset. i was at this private beach were i seen monk seals and turtles before, but never a mermaid. i was speechless!
