Fish Week

164

Last week I was craving sashimi.  My brother bought home a lot of ahi, or maguro.  I ate way too much.  Then I started craving a different type of sashimi.  So when I saw this fish in the deep blue, I was already thinking about getting the wasabi/shoyu ready.   This fish lives deep down on the bottom of the ocean and makes for great sashimi.  One of my favorites.

Just 30 minutes of a hot sauna will make your body very happy.  Followed by a cold shower and you will feel relaxed and refreshed.  Now it’s dinner time.

Spent some time cleaning and cutting up the fish the other day.  Making some nice filets and letting it cure in the refrigerator for 2 days.  Now the texture and taste is at its best.  This will be my dinner for the entire week.  Sashimi tonight, carpaccio tomorrow, then beer batter fish and chips to finish it off.  Feeling healthy and happy…
