i’m going to tell you why i think my sister is the best women surf instructor in hawaii. she’s patient, surfs good, will ride a wave with you, and always makes people happy. what more can you ask out of a surf instructor???

this japanese guy paddled out to queen’s and was sitting in the inside. for the first hour, he couldn’t get a wave because all the longboarders were on it. he waited patiently and one perfect one came to him. after he kicked out, i could see the stoke in his face…
paddle boarding isn’t that easy to do. i’ve tried it a few times and it’s hard to turn. so now when i watch girls ripping on 11′ paddle boards, i show them some respect…
