my friends wedding is coming up this weekend and it’s going to be pretty cool. he asked me to be in his wedding party so i get to sit up on the stage in front of 250 people with a cool suit on. yeah, he ordered the groomsmen’s custom made suits from a super famous tailor in hong kong named Sam. Sam’s Tailor has made suits for people like President Clinton, John Travolta, Jason Mraz, Sylvester Stallone, Pierce Bronsan, Ronald Reagan, Prince Charles, Gerald Ford, George Bush, Margaret Thatcher, Michael Jackson, Richard Gere, Princes’s, Politicians, Actors, and many famous people around the world. i’ve wore a suit once in my life back 24 years ago. i had a meeting with the president of a big bank here in hawaii because i won the scholarship in my junior year in college. i felt like a rich man in that suit and i will feel like a rich man this weekend. i got my haircut, i got my tan, i got my black shinny shoes, and i got my tie, and i’m ready to go! can’t wait!
good staff equals good business. every time i go to Standard California in tokyo, the staff are always smiling, always energetic, and always so kind. a key to a successful business is good staff. and of course a good boss. Akudo-san, you have a great team!

Clark Little is probably the most famous water photographer in the world right now. his photos are everywhere! after his recent trip up to sendai, he wanted to donate things to the people. so come M7, i’ll be taking it up with me. super cool guy with a super big heart.
it’s been a while since i drove out to the north shore. it was good to eat my favorite fried chicken. good to get stuck in traffic, and good to have my clean car all dirty with red dirt. the weather was bad but i loved it. just like mentawai. haha.
