good evening. i just experienced something that i thought i’d never experience. after 30 years of hearing the stories from my grandma and grandpa, i finally dropped everything and went to hike mount fuji. everything they told me was right but they never told me how hard it was, and how cold it was. it took 5 hours and 20 minutes of non-stop hiking to reach the top. i was exhausted and almost gave up. it was 1 or 2 degrees in freezing winds. there was snow on the mountain and i thought i was going to freeze to death. somehow i made the sunrise this morning. gosh, it was the most beautiful thing i’ve ever seen. i got a bunch of photos but too tired to download it yet. my body is beat but i feel like i accomplished one of my dreams. i’m going to sleep, goodnight….
i wanted to thank tanaka-san for always letting me park my car at his shop in chiba. and for letting me use the hot showers, and for offering me the ice cold beers. alohas is the name of this shop and the speciality is their electric cars. if i lived in chiba, i would guarantee have one. wait!!! i forgot i have one. jasmin just bought one so the next time i go to chiba, i’ll put on a go-naminori sticker, and drive it around like i own it. haha…
this one is my favorite….
