i still can’t believe the day i had to sit and watch some of the most beautiful waves breaking right in front of me. it wasn’t easy watching empty waves peeling by but as soon as i seen somebody i knew on a nice wave, i was super stoked for them. here is big wave rider shimpei pulling into okinawa’s pipeline…
and to see the gallery made me more stoked. it was standing room only at the sunabe sea wall. when somebody got barreled, you would hear the cheers from the crowd. it was like the pipeline masters or something…. wanted to thank yoshi-san from okinawa for these amazing photos… i just wish i could have surfed that day… oh well, there’s always a next time…

yu-chan is one of the cutest 2 year old girls i’ve ever seen. i’ve known yu-chan for half of her life. since i met her last year, seeing her smile makes me happy. and getting a big hug from her makes me more happy. i wanted to thank yu-chan and her family for being so kind….
