good morning. first, i wanted to thank everybody for sending the emails about the new go-naminori web magazine. i’m stoked you like it!!! thanks for the wonderful comments and the english one will be out soon so stay tuned. and we’re working on the next one already so keep on surfing and if you see one of our photographers around, smile because you could be getting a 2 page full spread. the vibe is good and that’s all that matters…
second, wanted to say thanks to my friends that sent emails about the “not so friendly” guy in okinawa. i didn’t mean to post that blog so you can go get pissed and look for the guy. i got an email from a couple of guys that wants to fly over there and kick his ass. please don’t. leave the guy alone. i don’t want to start any kind of problem in okinawa because the other 99.999999% of people are the nicest people in the world. i love that place and even wouldn’t mind living there someday. the main reason i posted that blog was to let you know that there are people out there that will screw with you one day. and when that day comes, you should be a man and just walk away. i did and was pretty proud at myself. my friends in hawaii would have dealt with that situation much differently. but traveling all these years taught me the right thing to do. which is to walk away. it was hard but now i’m glad i did it. next time? it will be much harder for me to walk away but i just have to keep thinking of one of my friends who didn’t make the choice to walk away. he ended up kicking the guys ass and the guy died. now my friend is spending the rest of his life in a prison. i’m not going to take that chance and let one idiot ruin my happy life…. [:?????$B!x(B???:]
raw wasabi fascinates me. being from hawaii, i still have the image of it being grown in tubes. the first time i seen it, it blew my mind away.. and still does….
yumie taught me this. this means “I Love You” in sign language. you should learn it too….
and last, the best way to travel around japan is by car. by car, you can see the most amazing things. i’ve been doing my own “soko ga shiritai” series in the country and when i pull up to places like this, it just takes my breath away…. freakin beauty!!! i love traveling, and i love japan!!!
