good morning. what a great trip it’s been so far. after touring okinawa for 2 full days, we got back to the beach hotel in the evening yesterday. the sun was setting and we all made plans to meet in the restaurant to watch the sunset while sipping on drinks. then takahashi walks in and asks me if we want to watch the sunset from his boat. oh my gosh!! of course we wanted too!!! so we went in my hummer to the boat harbor, got on his 65′ boat, and headed out to sea. it was an awesome experience for everyone and everyone was super happy….
then we came back to hokulea and this was waiting for us. crab, sashimi, umi budo, tako, lobster, pizza, pasta, champur, and a whole lot more. i wanted to thank satoru-san and everybody at hokulea for the wonderful dinner and the wonderful time. kazubo-san and family, roji-san, takahashi-san, toshi-san, entertained us all night. i have some movies and photos that i will be posting later. just let me get rid of my headache first….
the more i get to know takahashi-san, the more and more i like him. on my last trip, he really took good care of me after i got hurt. and on this trip, he’s taking good care of my family. yeah, our group is like me family now and it means a lot to me when people make people happy. and takahashi-san is doing just that….so i wanted to thank him and all the staff at the beach hotel, island message, and hokulea… see you guys again soon….
and last, my hummer was looking pretty good. when i jumped in and turned the key, the computer navi system said “welcome back kirby”… that made me happy!!! haha….
**now we’re off to kansai airport, then heading to bali. that’s going to be the last leg of our tour and we’re going to end it off with our own suckling pig. garut has my boards ready so i’m going surfing. i don’t even care how the waves are. i’m just going surfing and eating nashi champur. along with a bintang. can’t wait!!!! have a nice day….
