usually when i get the surfing magazine in the mail these days, i just put it on the side because i’m just too busy to read it. but this month was different. this month had america’s top kid surfers in a third world country surfing and competing both on land and in the water. and because my nephew was one of these 4 special kids, i had to read it. well, i just read the article. haha. my sister was on this trip too and couldn’t show me photos either because it was top secret.
these 4 boys are the next future generation of surfing. i’ll bet you anything that one of these kids will be world champion, and i’m hoping it will be seth moniz, the guy winning this race. haha.
to be so young and able to see the world is awesome. these kids are learning things you can’t learn in school. and hopefully, it will make them all become experienced and responsible young men. that’s seth on the far right.
and of course, who gets the big 2 page spread? Seth Moniz! gosh, i took a photo of him similar to this a 5 years ago. wait, i’ll go back to look for it. but before i look for it, i want to explain how hard it is to get a 2 page spread in the most famous surfing magazine in the world. Surfing Magazine is world wide and everybody reads it. making a mark in this magazine brings you instant fame. super stoked for these kids!
