i had a great time in the kyle’s new boat yesterday. it’s like a dream boat for many. kyle and his family spent long hours on making his dream boat. every single part and every single screw was put together with love. after we dove in the morning, the rest of the nakamoto family came down to have lunch at the kaneohe sandbar. i had to come back to town so i couldn’t join them. but as i was eating the spam musubi kyle’s mom made for me driving back to town, i thought again what a wonderful family they have. the love and support for each other is just priceless. i’d have to say they have the perfect family and we can all learn from them. i sure do.
driving to dinner was amazing!!! the pink/orange sky only happens a few times a year. last night was one of them.
from backpacking to luxury. i love both sides of the world. but when i’m in a 5 star restaurant sipping on a bottle of dom perignon, i don’t miss the backpacking world. haha. want to welcome inaidasan and yukisan back to paradise. surf, eat, and laugh everyday. go-naminori!
after free diving all day long, your body gets fatigue. you feel fresh, but you’re body is in relax mode. but after drinking almost a full bottle of champagne by yourself, you wake up and feel higher than ever. i felt so good that i thought i could fly! how did i get home? i still don’t remember. abunai.
lara yamada from KITV news in hawaii sent me this photo asking if i knew where it came from. i have no idea so i need your help. if you recognize this, please let me know what part of japan this came from. we are starting to get boats and all other debris washing up on our eastern shores. it’s just good to know where it came from. thank you.
last, i finally downloaded the photos from my backpacking trip onto my computer. gosh, it seemed so long ago. will post some soon. have a wonderful day!
