good morning. 6:30 am and the waves not looking too good today. the winds are already north so the north shore looks a little bumpy. for some reason, town is ugly too. i heard sandy beach was fun yesterday. i might have to check that out. can you believe 5 more days till christmas? and 11 days till 2010? this year is coming to an end so enjoy the rest of 2009. oh, and please be careful when driving. there are so many people getting killed on the roads in hawaii recently. drive with caution and drive slowly. anyway, see you at the shopping malls….
somebody wanted to know why i have so many spear guns.
here’s the answer: just like surfing, i need different equipment for different conditions. the gun on the left is my blue water gun. that’s for big fish!! the middle one is both for big or medium fish in deep water. i use it in the 30-60′ depths. and the small one on the right is for shallow water and for going into caves or holes. so when i go diving on a boat, i bring 3 guns so i’m ready for anything…. these guns combined are worth over $1,000 dollars. might sound expensive but it’s caught me over $10,000 worth of food and counting…. if you buy a spear gun and can bring home fish, that’s a good investment….

oh my gosh!!! utada hikaru is coming to hawaii!!! live at pipeline cafe january 15th, 2010. i always wanted to see this girl sing live. her song “First Love” got pretty famous in japan and it was about 8 years ago i heard my 14 year old hawaiian nephew singing this song in his room. yeah, that song made it internationally and i have to admit, i have it in my ipod. anyway, her concert sold out so fast and i’ve been looking for tickets. if i find one, i’m there….
