opps, it’s day 3 here and i was supposed to go back to hawaii last night. decided why not stay another night with friends and eat some of the best food that japan has to offer. here are some photos from day 2.
i’ve known Eri-chan for a long time now. she’s like my japanese sister. always happy, always genki, and always smiling. the boss of BeachPress that keeps all the girls stories together. thank you Eri-chan for the awesome asai smoothie.
Eri-chan also has one of the most comfortable houses i’ve ever been too. as soon as i walk in, i feel like taking a nap. super clean, super cool, and super good. check out Naoka in the background in relaxing mode.
then i was super stoked to see Matsuo and Akko in chigasaki. i’ve known ever since i first went to japan. the are like family to me. Matsuo just turned half his surf shop into a surf cafe. coffee, jaffels, and smiles.
Matsuo behind the counter, and Shintaro-san in front. see you boys again soon.
then it was good to see Saito-san and Kanae-san. both members of We Are One and two of the most nicest people in the world. it’s amazing how we meet, how things happen, and how thing fall into place. it’s weird how a devastating tsunami brought us all together. Saito-san, thank you for the ride to tokyo! We Are One!
well, gotta get going. it’s 6am and i finally slept past 3am. i have to go back to hawaii tonight because i have a wedding to go to tomorrow. i’m looking forward to a happy day in hawaii where 2 lives will begin a journey to happiness.
