ok, the hype is on! every single surfer in hawaii is waiting for the next summer swell. the boards are waxed up, the gopro’s are charged, and a lot of people are going to be happy this weekend. 6′ solid south swell with perfect off shore trade winds. big bowls and big rights will be the best for sure. stay tuned.
it’s so amazing how fast information gets spread on the internet. 20 years ago, you would have to wait 3 months to see photos of yesterday. but now, you can see yesterday yesterday, and today today. this is yesterday in tahiti. some amazing wipeouts!!! this looks like a crazy wipeout but he’s actually in a safe place.

bodyboarders are so lucky because they can get into the wave much faster than surfers. this guy actually has a chance of making this drop. if it was a surfer, no freaking way!

when i first went to japan 23 years ago, i remember seeing a bunch of motorcycle gangs riding throughout japan. i couldn’t believe watching them make so much noise, racing in the streets, going through red lights, and even running away from the police. it was a culture shock experience for me. these guys are called the “Bosozoku” or Motorcycle Gangs from Japan. and when this movie comes out, i’m going to go watch it.
