first, wanted to thank toda-san and takami-san for all the goodies from japan!!! i’m so happy…. i’m going to snack on oden with a glass of jacksan later tonight…. kanpai!!!
kelia japan update!!! ok, kelia’s first trip to japan is about 95% a go. things are falling into place as we’re trying to get her schedule planned. ticket is booked and if it happens, the dates are august 5-15th. don’t know exactly where we’ll be but keep you posted. i can’t wait!!!! but i know one place i’m taking her for sure, it’s 109 building in shibuya for shopping. i’ll drop her off there while i go back to shibuya station and visit Hachi-ko. i’ll probably end up waiting there for a while….
and last, the waves yesterday evening were pretty small. but if you waited for the right one, you could ride it for a long time…..
this japanese girl had some really good ones. as she was riding this wave, i was thinking to myself, “gosh, imagine coming from japan to hawaii and surfing a really long and fun wave with 3 other surfers as the sun goes down?” that’s how it was yesterday evening. if i came from japan, i’d be stoked. i live in hawaii and i’m still stoked… enjoy the ride!!!
