who ever invented this energy smart light bulbs is a genius. ever since i started using it at my house since a few years ago, i never had to change it. yeah, they seem to last forever. it lasts 100 times longer then the old ones, and also saves a lot more energy. $5 for 2 bulbs is a deal considering how much lower my electricity bill is…..

i went to taiwan nabe again. gosh, i’ve been going there like once a week. the free desert keeps me coming back. last night was monday and we waited for almost 2 hours to get a seat. and when we left at 9 pm, there must have been 35 hungry people outside waiting in line. gosh, that place is booming!!! can somebody please open another one already?
2 days in a row we went to eat waiola shave ice in town. toda-san claims it’s better than yogurt land. i think so too. i still think it’s the best shave ice in hawaii, or probably the best shave ice in the world. if you go there, order the large cup with ice cream and azuki beans with strawberry flavor covered with condensed milk. oishi yo!!!
*want to thank everybody again for all the emails and comments. sorry i’m soooo behind again. things are going by so fast and i just can’t keep up. it’s either stay on my computer all day and respond to emails, or go out and play. you know the answer to that one yeah? if i didn’t play, there will be no blog to write, and if there is no blog to write, there will be no comments. but hey, i’m not just playing so i can do a blog about it. i’ve been playing everyday since 1990, the first time i went to japan. that’s 20 years of fun and i ain’t stopping anytime soon. so thanks again for the nice comments and i’m glad to hear that photos of hawaii can brighten up someone’s day from across the world. mahalo…
