My Little Car…

267

good morning. 6:30 on this saturday morning. it’s raining and cloudy outside. the waves are small all over the island. waist high in town and chest high on the north shore. maybe a great day to relax? i have millions of things to do before i leave so i better get started. first is breakfast. have a wonderful day!!!

somebody asked me where this ramen/tsukemen place is. to tell you the truth, i don’t know how to explain it. all i know that it’s near mutsui station on the odakyu line. walk out to machida sen street, turn right and it’s there behind the pachinko parlor. if you ask me if it’s worth the long drive or long train ride, i’d have to say yes….

i’m pretty sure some of these people came from far away. the wait is probably 1 hour? that’s how you know a good ramen place in japan. if you see a line, stop and eat. that’s how i found this place…

i usually order ramen, which is good. but i wanted to try something different so i ordered the tsukemen. it was so good!! now i’m going to have a big problem. next time i go there, i wouldn’t know what to order. their both good!!!

this is my little car that’s been taking me to places for the past 18 years. can you believe it’s 18 years old and only cost $8,000 brand new? of course everywhere i go, i just pull up like a vip. i can fit this car into anywhere. and the cool thing about being a gaijin is i can’t read “no parking” signs. haha…
