i feel like a wave magnet! i really wanted to surf a typhoon in japan this week but instead, came back to hawaii. i had no clue but there is a mini typhoon coming! it’s been 20 years since we got a storm like this so everybody is going to panic! for me, i’m going to surf it! the swell and winds are going to be tricky but if you know where to go, you will score. i already have a few places in mind.
i drove to bowls this morning and was expecting it to be flat. then i seen some swell coming so i decided to surf the biggest spot on the south shore today, which was kewalo’s. the waves were super good and i had a super great time!
no rainbows in mexico. i am so glad to be back home.
i got out of the water and drove home before the sun even came over the mountains. the jetlag got me up and 4am and i just drove to the beach in the dark.
this is Flossie! look how big it is compared to our islands. winds over 50mph expected and waves over 20′ faces.
this storm is going to roll over hawaii! high winds, flooding, falling trees, traffic, and a lot of panic starting tomorrow. please be safe!
