How to Surf in Hawaii!

469

ok, today was a beautiful day! i have some jobs to take care of so i took out my camera and did some work. drove to a few surf spots to take some photos. we have a new section on Go-Naminori.com on surf points and i’ll be guiding you the way i do it. not like the guidebooks, but like i usually surf these places. it’s a little different because there are tricks and secrets to every surf spot in hawaii.
i’ll show you where to park, and not where to park. i’ll tell you what to do if your car gets towed or stolen. yes, it happens to everybody so you have to be prepared.

most places are so accessible with showers and rubbish cans.

4 hour parking means you can only park there for a maximum of 4 hours. and if you’re japanese, you might have a hard time understanding this sign. i know people that pay for parking here 24 hours a day when they don’t have to.

i’ll even tell you where to paddle out. unlike japan where most spots are beach breaks, most spots are reef breaks here in hawaii. it’s a total different way to approach the spot, and the wave.

and yes, there are a few hidden secret spots. it’s places like this you won’t find tourists. i’m still not too sure if i’m going to tell you how to get there. depending on how i feel that day. haha.

but hey, stick around on GO-NAMINORI.COM. this is the only place you will find the local way to do it. all photos taken today by me. and yes, i even work on sunday’s! haha.
