ok, the ocean off japan is starting to come alive. we’re in peak typhoon season and it hasn’t been a great one. hopefully things will pick up just in time for my typhoon chasing trip next week. i have my eyes on the forecast, i have my tickets, and i’m ready for anything.

ok, we all know that the traffic on the north shore is freaking crazy because of the tourists pulling over to see the turtles at laniakea. it takes hours and hours that once took 5 minutes. and with all the information on the internet, it’s only going to get worst. so, the government decided to close the parking lot there and put up barricades to ease the traffic. yeah, for the hundreds of surfers who surf laniakea, where do we park now? that’s crazy!

i was walking on king street at 1am last night. seen the leftovers of this bicycle and just had to laugh. somebody stole both tires, the seat, and the handlebar. welcome to paradise? i don’t think the owner of this bike thinks hawaii is paradise.
