ok, i’ve been looking and dreaming of boats ever since i got my first one about 20 years ago. things haven’t changed and if you ask me about a boat, i could tell you the size, the make, the model, and the price. this is a boston whaler 19′ outrage. brand new cost $55,000. great boats, but you get wet from the waves and wind. why would you spend so much money for a boat that makes you cold?
now this is a real boat. i’m a double hull man. very stable, and very dry. this is a 22′ prokat with huge motors and a huge room to sleep in. this is a very comfortable ride for molokai and a good sunset party boat. new goes for $100,000 but this used one is selling for $45,000. a deal if you have $45,000 cash. for now, i’ll keep looking and keep dreaming because if you don’t dream, it won’t happen.

today was probably the most beautiful day of the year. i woke up and couldn’t believe how blue the sky was and how good the waves were. surfed 3 rounds of perfection!
i was with Ota-san and the Hawaii ni Koishite TV crew filming around town. i surf, they film, and that’s it! lucky me yeah? should be on tv later this year so don’t miss it.
around 2pm had the heaviest rain storm! just pouring rain and low visibility. i get excited at times like this because i know the conditions are going to be epic! we load up the boards, head to the beach, and yes, the waves were absolutely perfect! the rain stopped, the sun came out, no wind, and glassy conditions. just like the mentawai’s! and guess what? nobody out!!!! we scored big time on this crazy sunday here in hawaii.
