Be Patient or Be Crazy!

imagine waiting in line, waiting on the side, you are first on the standby list, you hope for somebody not to show up. all flights are fully booked because it’s the end of spring break so getting to japan yesterday was pretty difficult, almost impossible. but i never give up so i get down to the airport at 9am. 10:05am was the first try and a family didn’t show up till the very last 10 seconds. so i was out. the second try i almost got on as a wife lost her husband in the bathroom so he didn’t show up to the gate. then at the last minute, he walks into the gate, gets yelled at from his angry wife, and boards the plane. i’m out again. the third flight was full too but i had a better chance because it was a flight to nagoya. 1:30pm, i get on. i’m so use to not making flights that it doesn’t even bother me anymore. if i go, i go. if i don’t, i don’t. if it was meant to be, it was meant to be. if not, it’s not. the good thing is that i get stuck in hawaii for another day? great! haha.

for the 4.5 hours i was at the airport, i refused to eat because everything was such a rip off. yeah, just super overpriced and not the best of food. a single scoop of cold stone ice cream was looking good but not for $8.

so i just stuck to the only thing free at the airport. water! without it, we would all die.

once i get on, i’m relaxed. i put on the headphones and get ready to watch 3 movies. watched Ted, Into the Furnace, and HBO’s Mike Tyson’s interview unplugged. Ted was one of the most funniest movies i’ve seen in a long long time. Into the Furnace was about a brother getting revenge when somebody killed his younger brother. he ended up shooting him, i would have done the same thing too. and i didn’t know that Mike Tyson is so funny.

i’m so happy that my brothers house in cambodia is completed! he moved in yesterday and i’m sure he’s loving it. hope to visit him and the kids again soon.
back to yesterday, i get on the bullet train, get to tokyo, sleep like a baby in a capsule hotel, wake up this morning. it’s raining, it’s cold, and my cherry blossom tour is cancelled. bummer. heading to shikoku tomorrow and hopefully get to surf some fun waves. looking forward to putting on my new 3mm dove wetsuit, wax up my new tssc surfboard, and surf with my friends. then going back to hawaii on monday. yes, the fast life continues! gotta enjoy it while i can! have a wonderful day!
