the train system here in japan is awesome. you can love it, or you can hate it. every single train is on time and coming from hawaii, i think that is amazing. japan is the very place that taught me to be on time too. if you’re late in japan, you are abnormal. if you are late in hawaii, you are normal. haha.
it was raining all day yesterday so i couldn’t go out and take any of the photos i wanted too. bummer.
i took this one out of the taxi. 2 different taxi drivers didn’t like me yesterday because i told them to go somewhere i didn’t know. haha. i’m still trying to figure out tokyo. it’s just too complicated!
then after driving around the busy streets, i parked the car in roppongi hills and walked from building to building searching for ramen. i swear it’s like a big maze!
after 30 minutes of walking, i found this shop called Tetsu. if you see a line in japan, it must be good. so i waited and waited.
i don’t like tsukemein but the guy told me this is this shops specialty. i’m a ramen lover but i took the chance to try something different.
this is tsukemein. you take the noodles and dip it into the sauce. i can understand why many japanese love it, but i prefer ramen. the guy next to me ordered ramen and i wanted to ask if he wanted to trade me. haha. it looked so good. as for tsukemein, i will never eat it again. ramen makes me happy so i’m eating ramen next time.
