good evening. wow!!! what an awesome day in hawaii!!! can you believe they held the pipe masters and the waves on the south shore was just as big? that’s got to be the first time. i pulled up to diamond head this morning and surfed an overhead high wave by myself. it was clean, glassy, and perfect. 1 hour later, 2 guys paddled out so i went in. score!!! and guess what? the waves came up throughout the day. i seen some solid 4′ sets this evening. tomorrow south and north will be going off with epic conditions!!! can’t wait…
i had something to do from 10 am today so i couldn’t go out to the north shore. my sister knew that but sent me this photo of perfect backdoor this morning anyway. little does she know, i was surfing waves just as good with nobody around…
