Analog Aloha….

243

After being on the news last night, been getting so many calls and
donations from people i don’t even know. that’s the aloha spirit we
have in hawaii and also the strong connection we have. i woke up this
morning and received an email from Mr. S. i just call him that
because i’m not sure if i’m supposed be be having one of these CIVIL
DEFENSE Analog Radiation Detector and Dosimeters. it’s an analog
detector that’s been around for years. harder to read than the new
digital ones these days, but much more reliable. Mr. S sat me down
and gave me an introduction to radiation. now i feel like a scientist
and feel like i can help people deeper in the disaster zone than i
thought. my body can only handle a certain exposure to radiation and
by knowing what i know, i can actually go in and help people. no, i
can’t stay for long periods, but i can go and drop off supplies, or
help evacuate. i learned the basics how to read this machine, and now
i want to learn more. if you have any information on radiation,
please email me because i want to know everything. and the more
information i have, the more i can help. and if any body else has one
of these laying around, please let me borrow it. the more, the
better…..
