good morning. so many people have been asking me if i will die because of the radiation. the answer to that is no. maybe i won’t live as long, but i won’t die. i took a crash course in radiation before i left and have been researching it while i’m in japan. scary? well, scary when i was in hawaii, but now that i’m here, not so scary. the reason is i can’t see the dam thing.
i want to thank steve sasaki for giving me this analog radiation reader. i have a digital one as back up but it feels safer to have both. so far, we’ve been exposed to radiation, but not the kind that can kill you in a week.
we went to the Minami Soma city office to find on what the heck is going on. tons of info but can’t get into it now. all i can say is that some form of government is messing up big time. and it’s not the Minami Soma government. it’s at a much higher level than that…
going into the radiation zone is like going to an invisible war. there are no need for guns, all you need to know are the risks that you will never know. going in that close is pretty crazy when you think about it. but if i had a better radiation outfit, i’ll probably go in closer. the reason is i know that there are survivors still alive in the deadly zone. the other day, one man was found alive one month later, and he’s probably not the only one.
this is the chart i’ve been studying like it’s my final exam in college. i didn’t throw up yet so i think i’m ok.
ever watch “who wants to be a millionaire?” on that popular show, they have what you call a “lifeline.” my lifeline is a kind man who lives in hawaii named Steve Sasaki. steve’s been keeping me posted on the radiation levels in the areas around the nuclear plant. we’ve been working together via email dodging hot spots in the zone. if i make it past 80 years old, i owe it to him. thanks steve….
