after a long day, we finally passed out supplies from the last of 3
cars. we were heading back to tokyo and stopped at a gas station in
sendai to fill in gas. acco-chan ran in and said “earthquake” and the
ground started to shake. i got out, and felt like i was walking on
water. it was weird. the guys at the gas station said “it’s only a
5.0M one.” and laughed. come to find out, it was almost a 6M. so
the freeway is closed at fukushima, the workers ran away from the
plant again, which i don’t blame them for doing, and we’re stuck
again. tonight i ain’t sleeping in the car again. i need a shower, i
need a warm bed, and i need to be in a room by myself before i lose my
mind. mother nature is pissed and she ain’t letting up. respect the
world! this is my 2nd big earthquake on this trip and i wasn’t
expecting anything like this. we’re stuck in heavy traffic and i know
tonight’s going to be a long night. wish us luck… and hope
tomorrow is a better day than today….
