good morning. waves are pretty much flat around the island. wish i could go diving again but got too many things to do. calm winds so if you can find a knee high wave, it will be perfect. i know where one and i’m going to check it out…. have a nice day…
this is the tuna kyle speared yesterday. possible state record but just have to wait to see. and yes, this was on the east side of oahu yesterday. and yes, you don’t see fish like this everyday in hawaii. and yes, i really want to spear one too…. and yes, after i took this photo with kyle’s olympus underwater camera, i’m really missing mine…
this is what i caught yesterday. one for sashimi, one for the steamer, and one for a friend…. fresh fish=happiness. bye the way, that omilu freaking bent my shaft. i speared him right behind the head and thought it was a kill shot. but he ran into a hole and bent my $70 shaft. so that’s a pretty dam expensive fish. i’ll be thinking about it when i’m eating his sashimi, then grilling his head and collar…. ummmm….
wanted to congratulate photographer nakajima-san again on his new baby boy. and wanted to thank nakajima-san for sending me typhoon 2 photos from japan yesterday. and wanted to thank nakajima-san for making me really jealous….
i mean, really jealous. gosh, i wish i was there….
