good evening. went to the east side for an all day dive. the water was clean, the waves were small, and the fish were out….. i caught a pretty good size omilu, a nice moana’kali, and some uhu’s and stuff. but the catch of the day was from kyle nakamoto. he was chumming the water and this school of tuna’s came in. he took aim with his little 100cm gun, took the shot, and landed a nice 18.2lbs tuna. might be a state record. stay tuned….
the billabong pro in tahiti finally started today. not the biggest, but good enough. one major upset. world champion mick fanning out! he lost in the second round. kelly slater on fire again. when is that guy going to quit? didn’t he retire 2 times already?
