had a favor to ask: if anybody in hawaii or japan recently bought a
Radex or Terra-P radiation detector or has one laying around their
house, can i borrow it for 1 week? first, you don’t need one in
hawaii or if you live far away from the nuclear plant in fukushima.
i’m planning to go back to the evacuation zone on may 16th and i want
to test the soil and foods in that area. i need either one of these
to do that. i looked online and their either sold out, or priced
outrageously. how can something that cost $200 two months ago cost 5x
that now? greedy companies…. i guess that’s the law of supply and
demand.
i’m going to try to order one but i’m not too sure if i will get it in
time. for mission 3, i want to do things including testing water,
soil, and elementary schools. i’m also trying to get sea water test
kits and am having a hard time with that too. i have many friends in
japan surfing up in areas where they don’t know if it’s safe or not.
i just want to be able to help with giving information. and if
there’s no radiation in the water, i’d like to surf too.
please email me with any kind of information you have. thank you.
