had another great day with Asayama-san. the waves were pretty big yesterday morning so it was a challenge. but after getting a big bake 4′ set on our heads and surviving, nothing could scare us. Asayama-san caught the biggest wave of his life and rode it perfectly! it was amazing! and when we got to the beach, he was super stoked! he couldn’t stop smiling! haha.
after our exciting morning session, we went to yoga. it was Asayama-san’s first time doing yoga so i was a little bit worried. i knew it is good for his health, but the class i go to is extremely hard.
not only was Asayama-san the oldest surfer in the ocean, he was the oldest student at yoga. first time but did an awesome job.
my yoga teacher is pretty hard. that’s why i like him. Pablo is a surfer so knows the poses that are good for me. good, but very hard. i couldn’t believe Asayama-san kept up with the class. his shirt was light blue, mine was light gray, but after all the sweat, our colors turned darker. our bodies couldn’t have felt any better leaving yoga class. namaste.
after a healthy sandwich at Andy’s, we went to check out some houses. japanese are really curious about living the hawaiian lifestyle so we went to check out some. starting with the cheapest, this 2 bedroom/1 bath is selling for $595,000. located in palolo, such a small house with a big price tag.
then this one on 9th Avenue was pretty small too. this one was selling for $790,000. it’s crazy how expensive it is to live in hawaii.
then i saved the best for last. we pulled up this house in kahala. you could tell it’s expensive by the ferrari parked in the driveway.
this is the beach front view. prime property in hawaii.
i still don’t understand why you would put a pool in a house like this when the beach is right in front? i don’t get it.
the price tag on this house is $13,500,000! omg!
was stoked to see Kosei-san fishing in japan. freaking nice boat dude!
a 146.2 kilo marlin!!! OMG, congratulations Kosei-san! cheers!
