the most famous surfer in the world in recent years is John John Florence. he checked in his surfboard for a short flight and when he went to pick it up from the baggage claim, this is what it looked like. the airlines charged him $500 and this is what he gets. omg! this is a surfers nightmare. anyway, John John posted it on his instagram and it went viral. millions and millions of people saw it and it was even on big time news sites like Yahoo.
Jetblue
this is a public relations disaster for JetBlue Air. the public is outraged at this company and there is so much negative publicity. this company just screwed the wrong surfer.

every trip i take, i always instruct the immigrations agent where to stamp my passport. i only had it for 5 years and almost every single page is full. if i don’t control it, i would have to apply for a passport every 2-3 years. anyway, this is how you do it. can you believe i went to japan 6x in 4 months? that’s crazy!

you really aren’t allowed to travel to Cuba yet. it’s still illegal as a tourist. my backpacker friends told me the only way in was to go through mexico. that’s what i did. my friends also told me not to have my passport stamped by Cuban immigrations. so it’s like you’ve never been there and that’s what you’re supposed to tell the US immigration officer when you re-enter america from mexico. when i arrived in Cuba, the immigrations stamped my passport and i said “OMG! OMG!” i wasn’t planning to lie or deny going to Cuba anyway but i kind of freaked out. an american backpacker told me “omg, you are screwed!” i seriously thought i was going to get arrested on the way back. but hey, what’s done is done. so i enter LA airport and go through immigrations on my return. the officer asks me “where did you go?” i said “Mexico and Cuba.” he looked at me funny and i said “and i’m also bringing back Cuban Cigars.” he looked at me more funny, gave me the curious eye, and said, “ok, welcome back.” so the best way to travel to Cuba is through Mexico and the best way to stay out of trouble is to be honest. honesty will get you through the good and bad times. and to all the america travelers that told me i was screwed. i think it is more screwed to lie to immigrations. i would have never done that and if you get caught, that might land you in jail.
