omg, yesterday was an amazing day. one of the best christmas ever for me. started off with the most amazing golden sunrise, then ended with the most amazing smile. christmas means family and friends. up until 3 years ago, i use to work on every christmas day. since then, i decided to dedicated myself to spending it with family and friends. we all went surfing! Naomi-san surfed for the first time in her life. it was a day i will remember for the rest of my life! peace!
but first, have to catch up on things. christmas eve was a day for the fat bat. the waves were kind of small so this board was the perfect match.
i took indou-san surfing in the morning. it was his first time ever leaving japan. he decided to come to hawaii to surf on his college break.
indo-san’s from osaka and surfs isanoura. he didn’t know how to turn and this was his first wave turning. you should have seen how stoked he was!
after every wave, he would paddle back out with the biggest smile! once again, a smile only surfing can bring out.
such a cool kid. super hooked on surfing. now even more hooked after learning how to turn.
then a quick pho for lunch. a perfect christmas eve day! keep on surfing dude!
