wow, did you see the Berkshire Hathaway 2016 annual meeting? omg, i woke up early to watch it and it was amazing. the first time in history it was streamed live over the internet. i always wanted to go to one of these shareholders meetings so this year i was lucky!
Warren Buffet is a very wise man. he took a $6,000 investment and turned it into the $65,000,000,000 company it is today. i like him because he is old school. his thinking and ways are calm, collective, and very confident. something pretty hard to do when you’re juggling around that kind of money. by the way, Warren Buffett is 85 years old and his vice chairman Charlie Munger is 92. these 2 guys run the company at that age and i think it’s amazing! that’s many years of experience that can’t be bought.
17,000 people crowded the arena where the meeting was held, and millions watched it over the internet. i was glued to my computer watching and listening to every word coming out of Warren Buffet’s mouth. i felt like i was in college again. i learned so much from that meeting and i can’t wait to see his next move.
omg, the other day i went snorkeling with the kids, i just got out there and dropped the anchor on my finger. it felt like somebody cut off my finger! i was in pain, then when i looked at it, there was a big hole and thick red blood started pouring out. i didn’t want the kids to see it so i screamed deep within my soul. i didn’t have bandages so i grabbed my dive glove and just put it on. i cold feel my glove filling up with blood as my finger was throbbing. went snorkeling anyway and tried to forget about it. then after i dropped off the kids, i went into my car and screamed “ITAI!!!!!!!” now the hole is finally healing but i will never forget the pain. it’s amazing how i can block out pain when i have to. if i was by myself, i would have screamed, went in, and called an ambulance. haha.
