PRIVATE GRADUATION, BEFORE AND AFTER, AND WOW!

i went to holli’s son’s graduation Hawaii Baptist Academy last week. it was at the blaisdell hall. i had the invitation in one hand, and a balloon and cookie corner lei in the other. i parked my car 15 minutes away and walked in the hot sun causing the chocolate cookies to melt. finally get there and i see a sign “no balloons?” the lady at the entrance looked me and said, “no balloons!” so i hide it on the side so i can grab it on the way out. i walk to the entrance again, show the lady my invitation, and she asks me “where are your tickets?” oh my gosh!!! it just wasn’t my day. i walked back to my car thinking “private schools suck!” no balloons? you need a ticket to congratulate somebody? i’m still a true believer of the public school system. anyway, congratulations Bryson Kihara. wish i was there to give you the melted lei, cute balloon, and shake your hand. welcome to the real world!

photo on the left taken in ishinomaki on march 12th. photo on the right taken 4 days ago. the rubbish from the water is not there anymore. but i’ve heard that some villages are still the same as it was 3 months ago. i’m getting ready to go back. still need some help and ideas on building a park for the kids. onegaishimasu.

there are many roads to go to waikiki but i take this one on purpose. why? because every time i drive through this green tree tunnel, i think to myself “WOW.” WOW!
