ok, here is a message to all my japanese friends that can’t figure out how to park on the street. if you see a meter like this, that doesn’t necessarily mean you can park there. yeah, weird right? i got my tickets before, and i also got my car towed. so i’ll try to explain how the parking system works.

when ever you see a meter, make sure you look for the signs and READ IT CAREFULLY! the top red sign says “TOW AWAY ZONE.” so if you park here from 3:30-6:30pm everyday except saturdays, sundays, and state holidays, you will get towed. trust me, i guarantee you will be towed. the bottom green sign says “1 HOUR PARKING.” read the times carefully. i see many of my friends putting money in the meter when they don’t have too. complicated? yes, even for me.

and if you can’t read english, my advise would be not to park there. these signs are way too complicated and if you misunderstand it, your car will be towed, plus you will get a ticket. all that will cost you over $200 and a lot of wasted vacation time. just ask Naoka. haha.

ahi fever? yeah! want to congratulate Derrick Hagi for pulling in this 205lbs. monster! i told you guys that i quit fishing but i might have to catch one for the year. haha.
