this is the 20 km evacuation zone declared by the government. these self defense forces are getting ready to go in and search for the bodies that are still lying around in the high radiation level. 6 weeks later? we tried to go in the zone with our daily clothes but were turned around. before i left hawaii for japan, i told myself that i wouldn’t go near that place. but after seeing life as usual in a city with grandma’s and kids walking around, your mind changes. radiation is an invisible killer and even i couldn’t see it. how can you be scared to go into an evacuation zone when you see people going on with their daily lives in it?
