yesterday was a big challenge for Rikita-san and Toshimi-san. they both wanted to learn how to cutback and after a few visual lessons on the beach, they were doing cutbacks. yes, it’s that easy! Toshimi-san never thought she could short board, but here she is short boarding!
Rikita-san caught some nice ones early in the morning.
and yes, this is how you do a cutback! perfect!!! i could tell how stoked Rikita-san was after he completed his first cutback.

everyday there’s been rainbows. makes everyone so happy.
then a rare sighting of a hawaiian monk seal. came pretty close to Rikita-san! so stoked to see this almost extinct seal coming back strong.
if you see one of these while you’re in the ocean, you can say you’re pretty lucky.
the west side was so hot! 33 degrees C and super strong sun rays.
but a definite must see place to visit. just be careful for somebody stealing your car when you go out to take a photo. haha.
