Japan: EAT, EAT, and EAT & Claude Maki Live @ Chiba…

good evening. another hot day here in japan. this weather makes me hungry so all i’ve been doing is eating and eating….

and my favorite food? YAMARI SHIRASU…. as soon as i got here, kimura-san sent over a couple boxes of shirasu to shonan. and now that i’m in chiba, he sent one here too. fresh and good… thank you so much kimura-san and yamari shirasu in wakayama….

you can eat it right out of the box. or you can add in some okura, onions, nori, and put it over hot rice… oh my gosh!!!! itadakimasu….

now that i’m in chiba, i had to check out this place that wendell kong told me had the best oxtail soup. even better than the famous kam bowl oxtail soup in hawaii. wendell also said to go to chiba HIC and ask for directions. so that’s what i did. the staff at HIC are so friendly and told me exactly where it was. and even wrote the phone number down for me. just wanted to thank them for that… so naoka orders the shoyu based oxtail soup and i ordered the shio, or salt based oxtail soup. oh my gosh… i can’t even explain how good it was. wendell was right, way better than kam bowl oxtail soup. you can’t even compare it. and all this for $8? cheap!!!!

i ate all and even licked the bowl like a pig. that’s how good it was… gochisousama deshita!!! by the way, please don’t email me and ask me where this place is and how to get there. there are no signs and it’s hidden away on the back roads of taito. i wouldn’t even know how to explain it. go to HIC and ask for directions….

well gotta go. big event happening tonight at taito beach. got some pro wrestling going on, with claude maki live on the stage after. it’s going to be nuts. going to grab jacksan and head over there… see ya….
