omg, today was such a beautiful day! went to work on Mayuki. fixed what needed to be fixed so thought i’d treat myself to a joy ride. and what a joy it was!
going out into the ocean with no traffic or traffic lights is freedom to me. i can do what ever i want, go where ever i want, and i’m enjoying every minute. went to fill up the gas tanks because i can see myself going island hopping very soon. Mayuki is ready!
went for a free dive so looked for my dive watch. i couldn’t believe it was broken??? OMG! who did this?
when i’m in japan, i’m walking around checking everything out. everything amazes me. take this parking garage in a high rise condo for example. there is only one door. all you do is drive your car in there, get out, and let it do the rest.
all operated by computer. it even turns your car around for you. and when it’s time to get it, you just punch in your number and it comes right on back down. freaking amazing!
and something amazing was how fast the japanese fixed the sinkhole in fukuoka. they did it in one week!!! if that were hawaii, it would take 2 years! i still see the constructing guys working on the sidewalk by the hilton hawaiian hotel. it’s almost done after 2 years of construction and traffic. 2 years? the japanese would have done that simple job in 2 days.
7 shark attacks this year on maui. so i just looked at the big tiger sharks that are being tracked right this minute. and look where they all are! all around maui! scary!
