i had an awesome day with the coolest family. Yusuke-san only started surfing 3 years ago and already surfs really good. thanks to Naoto Suzuki at Real Surf in Izu. great job teaching this cool guy how to surf and enjoy life!
Kano-chan is only 13 years old and enjoys surfing a lot. i could tell because she was smiling from start to finish. such a cute teenager!

then i looked down to another spot and seen it barreling on the very low tide. then Yusuke-san and i went to go check it out. and yes, it was barreling and very shallow!
if you can relax, you can enjoy the perfect ride!
as Yusuke-san was waiting for another wave, i seen a turtle pop right up next to him. it was so cool!
then it swam right under us as we watched it pass by.
then we started our afternoon sightseeing tour. beautiful place 2 days in a row. i would never get tired of tantalas.
