i went to pick up Kobayashi-san yesterday morning at his hotel. when i pulled up, he jumped into my truck and we started driving to the beach. we were talking about surfing but something was weird???? i didn’t remember him??? we almost got to the beach when i asked “you look different for some reason??? are you Kobayashi-san???” he said “no, i’m Omura.” what???? i said “omg, i picked up the wrong guy!!!” took him back and we were laughing all the way. we both felt embarrassed. haha.
this is the real Kobayashi-san. thank goodness i figured it out before it was too late. haha. awesome surfing dude!
Kobayashi-san is from hokaido so hawaii is pretty dam warm for him. he ended up catching 20 plus waves and surfed it flawless!
