went for a fast dive yesterday after our morning surf. i wanted to catch some fish for myself, and some friends. all i wanted was a kumu and a tako, but i got way more! surprising how many fish were swimming around yesterday.
this was my first dive spot i pulled up to. i was aiming my gun as usual for the head, but for some reason, my shot was hitting the body. i couldn’t figure it out???
this was my second spot. my friend wanted kole so i got some kole. the best tasting fried fish in hawaii! then i seen that unicorn fish in the middle. i was so happy because that’s the best tasting sashimi! i had it on my hot rice tonight for dinner. delicious!
then as i was about to wrap up my dive, i seen a tako hiding in a hole about 35′ deep. i spent a minute and a half trying to get him out. finally succeeding.
this is a perfect assortment in my cooler. i couldn’t have asked for anything else more.
then today, i was tuning up my guns and trying to figure out why my shot was off. hopefully it will be more accurate tomorrow. i’ve been using these 2 guns for the last 15 years and it’s been so good to me. maybe it’s just mental?
maybe mental because i kind of want a new one? haha. i already have my backup plan to get a new one. but the new one i want cost $1,000!!! so i better think about it first. haha.
i’ll sleep on it and decide tomorrow. i’m surfing in the morning and don’t be surprised if i jump on a boat or airplane tomorrow afternoon. enjoying each morning and afternoon of each day every day. good night.
