i couldn’t believe how dirty the water in the ala wai was today? omg, imagine falling in here??? so nasty!
yesterday i was daydreaming about something while backing up my truck. then i heard a loud noise and realized i smashed my surfboard into the wall! it cracked the tail, and also broke the nose off from the impact hitting my truck. omg! so instead of spending $150 to get it fixed, i decided to do it myself.
dug up my ding repair kit and realized i need a lot more materials.
the last time i fixed my own board was 5 months ago. ever since then, i must have spent over $1000 on having someone else fixing my dings. so i used this resin that cures and gets hard by the UV rays of the sun. but guess what? no sun at my house!!!
so i went to the store to get more supplies and i’ll be fixing my boards all day tomorrow. dusty, dirty, allergy, sneezing, coughing, smelling, and sweating. this is the side of surfing i don’t really care for.
