had an awesome surf session with Rikita-san this morning. perfect waves and perfect conditions. waves bigger than i thought so we had so much fun.
Rikita-san always wants to try different places. i couldn’t believe i didn’t take him to China Town yet. so China Town it was.
i already know what the best of the best is so that’s all we need to order.
this is absolutely my favorite! chicken on rice with the best chinese sauce. i can eat this every day.
and the biggest sesame balls you ever seen! the perfect dessert.
then went by the temple. deep japanese culture in hawaii.
Rikita-san told me he seen a manta ray in the ala wai canal? really???? he even took a photo.
i looked closer and it was really a manta ray!!! omg, that’s the first time i ever heard of a manta ray in the ala wai canal. i hope it survived the dirty water??? but Rikita-san was very lucky to see that.
today was sunday so there are open houses from 2-5pm. i go to look for ideas, and i go to daydream. this would be my ideal bath tub if i renovated my house.
and i would hire who ever did the interior design on this house in kaimuki. it was so perfect!
so i started daydreaming while sitting on a sofa looking out to the lawn. a very small and comfortable house in kaimuki. if i had $1.2 million in my pocket, i would have bought this house in a heartbeat. the best house i’ve ever seen in kaimuki. when i walked in, i felt like i just came home. and i don’t feel like that too often.
