omg, i was looking all over for this photo and finally found it!!! i still remember this day as it was yesterday. i picked up the 3 kids and took them fishing for the first time of their lives. it was in Hawaii Kai where i use to go fishing as a kid. no, we weren’t trying to get a big tuna, we were just trying to catch a little fish. and when Isaiah got his first bite and the pole started to bend, i remember him yelling and screaming! and i remember Josh and Seth screaming too! they were so excited and freaking out. thank goodness i had my camera because never had cell phones back then. these are the times i can say that a photo is priceless. congratulations Isaiah on your first fish! size doesn’t matter, it’s the experience! haha. look how happy the kids were. haha. look at Joshua on the right. haha. so cute! they were all still babies.
then a few years later, Isaiah asked me to take him fishing again. so this time, we went for medium size fish. you should have seen his face when this moana bit the bait. he was screaming again!!! haha.
then when it was time to go catch a big fish, guess who was the first guy i thought of? yes, Isaiah. catching a big tuna is any fisherman’s dream. now that this dream has come true, this kid can say he’s done it all as a fisherman. all i can dream of as an Uncle is to hope Isaiah keeps fishing, keeps healthy, and keeps that golden smile going forever. that’s my fishing tale for today. have a wonderful evening!
