today was a beautiful day for surfing in Hawaii. even the dogs were out having fun!
went SUP’ing with Omura-san this morning. he did some SUP’ing before but never really caught a wave. so today, our goal was just to catch one wave.
it’s so cool how calm it is in the harbor. but once you turn the corner, the waves were pumping!
so stoked Omura-san caught his first wave. he couldn’t believe how barreling it was at the takeoff. i think he was tripping out. haha.
then we went to the little private sandbar that only pops up on low tide. such a cool place to hang out and take a break.
then we went back out and Omura-san caught another wave. so stoked to see him challenging himself and achieving his dream. great job!

then went to eat the best noodles in Hawaii! thank you Omura-san for the wonderful morning.
then had an amazing afternoon surf with Ikeda-san and 12 year old Souichiro-kun. more smiles coming soon.
our neighborhood got together and is trying to protect our homes. once you have the photo, let the social media do its thing.
