Seira-chan wants to study abroad so she is researching the right place! come to Hawaii, study English, and surf! can’t go wrong! yesterday afternoon, we went to some colleges to check out what’s best for her.
gosh, i remember sitting next to this pond while i attended University of Hawaii in Manoa. i had a part time job of having conversational English with Japanese students. it was only 2 hours a day but i met some amazing people along the way. and the funny thing is, i couldn’t speak any Japanese at all! that’s why i got the job. haha.
so taking Seira-chan and Motoko-san to UH brought back all the good memories. it’s the most beautiful campus in the world.
then we went to Kapiolani Community College. gosh, imagine walking out of class with this amazing view. i would go straight to the ocean!
another option for this young lady. i’m sure no matter which option Seira-chan chooses, she will be happy here in paradise.
then went to Whole Foods in Kahala Mall. Honolulu’s organic supermarket.
we all drank fresh juice. i picked the green one.
orange, spinach, ginger, and honey. it was amazing!
then took the ladies to my secret spot. this is where you will see something totally different than Waikiki. i could sit here for hours watching and watching.
then went to Sandy Beach to feel and hear the powerful shore break. it was such a beautiful day out there!
thank you Motoko-san and Seira-chan for the wonderful 2 days. i can’t believe you guys came to Hawaii yesterday and are leaving tomorrow! i hope you enjoyed every minute of your wonderful vacation. have a safe flight back to Shikoku!
